Clients want their arrangements to be as simple as possible, but they also want them to actually work and carry out their objectives, including the non-financial aspects of their legacy. I see four aspects of special importance: (1) to take the time to understand each Client's situation and desires; (2) to offer recommendations tailored to meet the Client's goals and be reasonably administered; (3) to explain the alternatives -- how they work and what they are intended to accomplish, so that the Client can make decisions and understand them; and (4) to be available afterwards, for questions, follow-ups, and modifications or updating when needed. This is the way I conduct my law practice, with patience, good humor, and enjoyment in working with you.
